Quota

At the moment users don't have the permission to request quota on the IAI-(LINUX) servers which is caused by the usage of the GPFS-Filesystem.

In case of exceeded storage allocation you will automatically receive a hint mail in the morning with the accorded occupancy ->Usually there is no need to fear because of sudden Quota-Expire.

Usually Users can check their assignment on their "own" directorys on an internal Linux-Computer (like bingo , prisca) with the command "du". For Example: "du -sc ...".

A list of "your" directorys is to find in the section FAQ/Shares.

In case of quota exceeding in the Windows Roaming Profile, the corresponding Data has to been deleted on the server-side (\\iaiw2khome\w2kprofiles$ -> /home/iai/w2kp/<username>) as on client-side on C:/Documents and Settings\<username>.
