Encryption

With the law enforcement of the EU DSGVO (Basic Data Protection Regulation of the European Union) on 25 May 2018, all members of the Institute for Informatics III are expressly obliged to fully encrypt the storage media of mobile service computers (service laptops, smartphones, etc.) with encryption software on their own responsibility. From this Reason we offer in the listed articles, instructions for the encryption of the system partition on different operating systems. We would like to point out that these are guidelines that have been checked by us as reliable, but the partitioning on the devices can still differ and the choice of encryption software is ultimately left to the user.
